British Shorthair Wait List
British Shorthair Wait List
A thoughtful first step toward welcoming a British Shorthair kitten into your home.
A More Personal Way to Find Your Kitten
Joining my wait list lets me understand what you are looking for in a companion and keep you informed as kittens become available. I can discuss timing, household considerations, and the qualities that make British Shorthairs such rewarding companions. Availability is subject to each litter and the kittens' individual development.
I keep communication clear throughout the process, sharing relevant updates as plans take shape. This gives you time to prepare your home, learn about the breed, and make an informed decision when a suitable kitten is available. My goal is a calm, respectful experience for both families and kittens.

British Shorthair PAWFIA
Where Beautiful Pedigrees Meet Loving Hearts
British Shorthair PAWFIA is a CFA-certified outstanding cattery located in San Jose, California, specialising in the classic, timeless Blue and equally exceptional, unique Cream British Shorthairs. Our breeding cats are carefully selected from distinguished European and Chinese bloodlines for their health, temperament, and beautiful, strong, round, cobby characteristics, including Champion and Grand Champion pedigrees.
We believe exceptional kittens begin with exceptional care. Our priority is quality rather than quantity, which is why we produce only two to three thoughtfully planned litters each year. Our kittens are lovingly raised in our home, with an emphasis on health, socialisation, and the sweet, gentle, and playful temperaments that make British Shorthairs such wonderful companions.
Before breeding, our cats receive comprehensive DNA health screening that evaluates more than 45 genetic health conditions. Our breeding cats are clear of PKD, ALPS, FeLV, and FIV, helping to promote optimal health outcomes for their kittens.
Our cats are cherished members of our household, and our kittens are raised alongside them in the comfort of our home. From birth, they receive attentive care, affection, and daily interaction in a safe, clean, and nurturing environment.
We devote significant time to each litter, providing thoughtful socialization and positive experiences that help nurture their naturally gentle temperaments and develop them into confident, affectionate companions. Their health and well-being are supported with quality nutrition and veterinary care from feline specialists throughout their time with us.
Our goal is to give every kitten a loving foundation for a happy, well-adjusted life with their new owner.
Our commitment continues long after kittens leave our care. We provide lifetime support to our owners and are always available to answer questions and offer guidance as kittens settle into their new homes and throughout the years ahead.
We value the relationships we build with our owners and take great pride in staying connected as our kittens grow into cherished companions.
